“Is this a mistake?” Crystal asked, sending the teacher a pleading look.

"Not at all," the teacher replied. "And no, there's no other candidate to tutor you."

“How long does he have to tutor me?” Crystal groaned.

"Just until your grades increase and stabilize," the teacher said.

Crystal bit her lip.
"I guess I have to work hard then." She chuckled. -
"Work hard alongside Ethan," the teacher corrected.

Crystal glared at the teacher.
“Yes, I suppose so,” she muttered, walking out of the classroom. -
"So we should probably figure out when and where we'll be doing it," Ethan said. "I suggest my house. Mom's always trying to get me to invite people over."

"Is that because you have no friends?" Crystal inquired, raising an eyebrow.

Ethan scoffed at her. "Look who's talking."

"I actually have friends unlike someone I know." Crystal snapped, glaring at Ethan.

"What, those three?" Ethan scoffed. "They're not your friends."

"Oh? Why do you say that?” Crystal growled.

"Ethan looked at her. "You don't know, do you?"

“Don't know what?"
