Ethan looked at Crystal for a moment while the other kids hustled around them to get out of the school for the day before leaving himself.
-
Crystal stayed in the school for a moment before leaving.
-
(What if she followed him)
Ethan's motorcycle was at the shop getting fixed so he had to walk. -
(Oooo yesh! :0 *nosyness has been turned on*)
Crystal was still frustrated about the murder and she was sure Ethan had done it. She decided to follow him. -
The walk was only about twenty minutes. Ethan soon arrived home. He stopped for a split second when he saw a police car in front of.his house. He walked inside his home.
-
Crystal saw Ethan go inside his house. She also saw a few police cars. "There is no way he didn't do it!" she thought to herself.
-
(Have her watch through the window)
Ethan walked into the living room. His mom and sister were sitting on the couch and a police officer was sitting across from them. "You're Ethan Schmidt?" the officer asked. Ethan nodded. "Sit down." Ethan.sat next to.his.sister. His heart hurt a little when she scooted closer to their mom. -
Crystal snuck around to the side of the house where she could watch Ethan through a window. She peeked in and watched them.
-
Ethan looked down at.his.sister. Her eyes contained disbelief and a little fear. His mother held.the.ssme expression, also shock and distrust.
The police man asked Ethan some questions. The room.was tense, but he answered everything truthfully. Sometimes the man would direct a question at his mother or her daughter.
At the end.of.it.Ethan's sister asked, "So was he the bad guy?"
"I don't think so," the officer said and stood up.
She cheered and quickly wrapped.her arms around Ethan. His mom looked relieved.
"Oh lil Jessie," Ethan said to.his sister in affection as he.returned her extremely tight embrace. -
"Aww." Crystal said, her heart melting at Ethan's love for his family. "He must not be the bad guy after all."
-
The officer spoke a few more words to them then started leaving.
Ethan went upstairs to do his work. -
Crystal went to the front door and knocked.
-
Jessie answered. "Who're you?" the little six-year-old girl asked.
-
"I think I'm a friend of Ethan's." Crystal said.
-
"Ethan," she called. "One of your friends in here!"
Ethan looked up from his book. He didn't have friends. And no one knew where he lived. He started walking down the stairs.
