Ethan crossed his arms. "Alright, I know what all of you are thinking," he said. "But I didn't kill Richie." Richie was the only name he had gone by, he didn't like the name Richard.

Crystal nodded her head slowly. "I-I believe y-ou." she stammered. She didn't really believe him.

Ethan let out a quiet scoff, knowing she was lying.

Crystal glared at him. "Unless you did do it and you're too scared to admit it."

"Look, despite what all of you think, I'm a man of my word," he said. "Now if you'll continue with class," he said,giving a nod to the teacher.

Crystal bit her lip and returned her gaze to her notebook. She couldn't imagine Ethan as a murderer, yet he seemed to be a bit guilty.

Soon the rumor was all over the school that Ethan had killed Richie. He was pretty sure that the police would be paying him a visit sometime soon.

Crystal slowly approached him. "Did you actually kill Richie?" she asked.

"I already answered that question," Ethan said. "I really don't know why I need to repeat it."

"I know but you seem to be a little suspicious." she said.

"A little?" Ethan chuckled. "I'm going to be the too suspect."

Crystal narrowed her eyes. "Well do you at least know if anybody else killed him?" she asked.

"I know.that somebody that wasn't me killed him, but I don't know who," Ethan said.

"I hope your not lying." she sighed.

"Why do you constantly have me repeat information I've already given you," Ethan said.
