Era blinked and then looked at Azariel "hm?

“Your making a face and tilting your head like your confused or something.” He said, raising his eyebrows.

"Oh. Just a little confused as to why shes willing to spend so much money on us" they said quietly, twisting a loose peice of string in their hand

"Sorry but no, not that one. THAT one," Heather said, pointing at the correct icecream as the flustered counterman shifted to reach it.

Azariel glanced over at Heather, smiling. “Well, she must be a very generous person to do something like that for us.” He said, then frowned. “Unlike me. I’m poor as hell.”

Myriad smiled nerviusly "dont worry im sure your richer then me" he said, half joking

Heather returned with the icecreams, beaming. "I don't know whether or not you guys liked cones, so I got us all cups instead."

Azariel grinned. “Eh, it’s fine. Thank you so much, Heather!” He said cheerfully.

Era smiled lightly "thank you" he said quietly

Heather looked a little shy now. "No problem! Let's find seats, shall we?"

Azariel nodded in agreement, looking around and spotting an empty table. “There’s an empty table right there.” He said, pointing.

Era nodded in agreement, before looking at the table Azariel pointed at. He smiled aand nodded again at the other male

Heather set the cups down on the table, distributing plastic spoons and digging in to her icecream. Her mouth was flooded with flavor. This was definitely worth her birthday money.
