"Turner..." Callyn said, "Why can't you just accept the fact that I don't have the same feelings that you do?"

Turner sighed. "Because it's hard to let go of the people you love." he mumbled.

Callyn sighed. "I wish I knew.how.to.solve.this."

"Change the subject?" he suggested.

"I guess," she mumbled. She looked at Turner's spaghetti pot. "Ok, I'm going to teach you how to properly spice your sauce,"Callyn said.

"I'm all ears." he said.

Callyn instructed him on spice families, why you don't put chilli pepper in spaghetti, which spices.to use, and so on.

"Why don't you put chilli pepper in spaghetti?" he had asked.

"Because then you have chili, not spaghetti sauce.

"Wouldn't that taste good though?"

"Well, chili tastes way different than spaghetti," Callyn said.

"Good point." he said.

Soon enough Callyn's mini cooking lesson was done.
Callyn remembered something. "When's your curfew?" she asked. "All I remember is that it's weirdly early."
