"I told you I can cook," she smiled as she dished up what little was left of the meal she had made onto her plate and sat across from him.

Turner shoved the food in his mouth. “This tastes so good! You should cook for me more often.” He said.

"What do you mean, this is my first time and we just met day before yesterday," she laughed.

Turner stared at her. “I know, but you need to cook more for me. How could you hide such a talent?” He said.

"I told you I can cook!" Callyn repeated.

“Mhm, I know.” He said.

She shook her head with a smile and started eating. "So what are you going to do today?" she asked.

“I always wanted to try school. Do you go to school?” He asked.

"After high school is college," Callyn said. "We were just talking about this yesterday."

Turner cocked his head in confusion and nodded. “Oh...” He said.

"Mhmm," she said. "How about we go to Mamita's again today? I want to show you another one of Mamita's abilities besides making excellent churros."

Turner had actually made a plan to go to Mamitas that day. “Of course.” He said.

"She is a literal lie detector," Callyn said. "Even if there's an ounce of untruth in what you say she can tell."

Turner nodded his head nervously. “She must be good in the detective department then.” He said.

"She would be," Callyn nodded. She took another bit of her food. "But her passion is cooking, so she cooks."
