Callyn just stayed close to Turner, staying where she felt safe. She didn't understand how Turner was able to handle this chaos all the time.
-
The security guard rushed forward and dispersed the crowd, grabbing Callyn and Turner’s arms and protecting them from the obnoxious crowd as he led them to the limo.
The limo door slammed shut, and finally, the two were left in silence.
Turner's face held a look of worry in it. He turned to Callyn, gently lifting the coat off of her head and placing it in her lap.
“Are you all right? I’m sorry that happened.” Turner whispered, scooting a little bit closer to her. -
"I'm fine," Callyn said. She handed him his jacket back. "Just shaken up. How do you manage to deal with that all the time?"
-
“That’s the part of being a star. Once you make it, you can never unravel yourself from star business. Some celebrities have faked their death to get out of stardom. While I wouldn’t so that, I can’t blame them. It’s understandable.” Turner shrugged.
-
"Are there ways to make it less...overwhelming?" she asked.
-
“Well, going on a hiatus can help. That depends on whether your fans can respect your privacy or not.” Turner closed his eyes and leaned back into the seat. He peeked one eye open and gazed lazily at Callyn with it. “Are you sure you’re okay?”
-
"I already told you I'm fine," Callyn said with a small laugh. "Now let's go home. I'm hungry."
-
“Are you sure though? You didn’t let any of those mean words sink in, right?” Turner asked with worry laced all throughout his voice as he fluttered over Callyn like a mother hen.
-
"I didn't," Callyn said with a shake of her head. "They're just jealous I have you."
(Remember later she's going to start having the insanely crazy fans send her things like death threats and things like that) -
(Poor Callyn :()
(Should it be a day later or later that night?)
“Oh? It should be the other way around. They should be jealous that I have you.” -
Callyn smiled. And so they went home together.
"You know the furniture will be coming to my house tomorrow," Callyn said. "I'll be able to get out of your hair then." -
A small pout formed perfectly on Turner’s face.
“Aw, you’re already leaving? Are you sure you don’t want to stay for a little bit? Not even the rest of the weekend?” He asked, trying to prod an answer out of her. -
"No, Turner, and quite frankly I kind of miss my house. I haven't been to it fully put together since I met you like nine months ago."
-
“Nine months feels like a lifetime, y’know.”
-
Callyn nodded in agreement. "Good night, Turner," she said, giving him a kiss good night.
