“I don’t mind Buckley. I’m getting used to him already, actually,” Sirlio realized aloud. “And plus, I’m just fine. He didn’t break the flesh or anything,” Sirlio added.

"Oh belive me your lucky he didnt. he thinks he's fierce" she said

“Buckley’s going to be a fine feline serial killer someday,” Sirlio joked. “He doesn’t want to show anyone his cute side. Or maybe that’s just hiding a nasty disposition I’ve already half-discovered.”

Sirlio laughed along, pure jubilance shining in his eyes.

Buckley meowed it was a little broken but really cute

“Aw, who's a good Buckley?" Sirlio asked affectionately.

"You must be a cat person" she said

"I'm really not. Buckley's the only cat who half-likes me, so I like him," Sirlio explained.

"Half-likes, its rare for him to even half-like someone" she said

Sirlio shrugged. "Maybe I’m just one with the felines." Buckley rested his tail on Sirlio's shoulder, and he laughed a bit.

"Of course," Sirlio teased. "Of course I am." Petting Buckley, he asked, "Shouldn't we go to bed?" Sirlio had stolen some provisions from the fridge and consumed them earlier; the moon was high in the sky now, and it was dark.
