After he closed the door and quickly undressed, he crashed on the bed. The day had taken an astonishing toll on him.

Deep in thought, Sirlio contemplated everything happening to him. Perhaps there was a solution, perhaps he could swim back after recuperating.

Buckley came and jumped onto her bed after he ate his food

Yet that could also have a metaphorical meaning behind it. Perhaps he wouldn’t ever make it back for the better. Maybe he could settle down here and live a life, better than the one he had thought it was destined to be.

She pet buckley and he kindly rewarded her with a bite

Sirlio had heard a leaping sound not long ago, but he was too fatigued to stir. He had always been an adventurous soul, but he needed to recuperate.

Buckley walked off proably to go find Sirlio

Sirlio heard scratching sounds at his door and assumed it was Buckley. That wild cat, he thought, but stayed unconscious. He wasn’t rendering anything happening in the outside world properly.

Buckley let out a loud meow one of the loudest meow he has ever made

Jeez, Sirlio thought, then got up and opened the door, arms wide. Buckley leaped right into them. "Calm down," he muttered, but gave him a polite chin scratch.

When Sirlio woke up, Buckley perched on his head, playing with his hair. "Ouch," he winced. This is a demonkitty, not a cat, he thought, struggling to pull his shirt over his head with a cat on his skull. Finally, he succeeded and quietly tiptoed downstairs, careful not to wake Calista. Buckley was not okay with Calista not being awake and scratched the wood bathroom door. It made a horrible screeching sound.
