"Oh, no! Does this mean I can’t live in the stair room?" Suyin went with it.

That cat meowed "Buckley says he will not share" she teased

"Oh, well." Suyin moaned. "The best room in a house taken by a cat."

Suyin grinned. "I guess I’ll take any room, then." He was serious now.

She pointed down the hallway "The guest room is on the left" she said

"All right. Again, thanks," Suyin said with a smile.

"No problem" she says

Suyin walked up to his room and immediately closed the door and turned the light on.

She walked back downstairs and into the kitchen

Suyin desperately needed rest even though he had recently slept, so he switched into PJs that were too small with no protest and crashed.

She turned on the TV and watched

Sound asleep, Suyin dreamed of canoeing, dreamed that nothing had gone wrong. All was well.
