Reyna struggled, but after a bit, she realized it was pointless. Her best shot was to pretend she loved him. Hopefully his guard would be down, and then she could escape. "Fine," she agreed.

Nickola got off of her. His attitude completely transformed. "Come, Reyna, look, this is your room. My room is next to yours, so if you ever need anything you can come in."

"All right," she grumbled. She stepped into her room. "Wow," she said as she took it in. It was much bigger than her apartment room.

It was the grandest bedroom in the mansion, second only to the master bedroom, his bedroom. "What do you like? If books, we will put books in here. If piano, we will put a magnificent grand piano in here for you to play bellissima musica!"

"I'm okay with anything, really," Reyna stated. "Just no pink. Or purple."

Nickola looked at Reyna then at the red walls. "Aqua," he said with a nod. "Aqua looks like it would suit you. We will repaint the walls, unless you want a different color?"

"Aqua is good," Reyna said tensely. She didn't trust Nickola one bit.

"Let me show you something," Nickola said as he took her by her shoulders and towards the window seat. "You see, there are guards at their posts, there is a tall brick wall with barbed wire atop of it, you are protected here, you cannot leave me."

Reyna's jaw dropped, but she caught it and feigned nonchalance. "Thank you for the protection," she said curtly.

"Now, fiore mio, we must see about your wardrobe," Nickola said, opening the large empty walk-in closet. "What do you like to wear?"

"Anything," Reyna replied. She was going to stick with the one-word responses.

"Anything does not answer my question," Nickola said. "Do you like dresses, if so, floral or sundresses? Or do you prefer to wear a nice shirt and pants? And what size are you? Anything does not answer anything."

"Formal" was all Reyna said.

"Dresses or suits?" Nickola asked. "Or just a nice shirt with dress pants?"

"Latter," Reyna responded. She had other things on her mind.
