Jax heard a ding from his phone, but didn’t answer it immediately. Maxie was struggling to get out of his cage.

She cleaned up her desk in her room.

Jax mopped up some of the floors after he finally got Maxie in his cage. After a few minutes, Maxie calmed down and Jax let him out.
