Jax drifted into a dream. A peaceful dream, with good memories flashing here and there; the day of Lucy's adoption, the era when he had had Sage the black cat... ((totally didn’t steal that name from somewhere) -

She patted flurry -

Jax unconsciously turned over and rotated so he was horizontal across the bed. -
Flurry fell asleep and Aspen soon after

Jax tossed and turned all night, even while he was asleep. There were a lot of things that were bugging him.

the next morning Aspen woke up -
alright))
Jax slept in again. He was fatigued from running in the rain yesterday. -
Aspen figured Jax was still asleep so she went to eat breakfast

Jax snored and when his alarm clock rang again, he somehow turned it off while unconscious.

She got cereal then began to eat it

Jax finally woke up and groggily made himself some oatmeal and devoured it; not because it tasted good but because he just wanted to call a simple meal breakfast and be done.

It was still raining outside, Aspen sighed at the clouds

Jax looked out the window and saw that it was raining. If the sky clears up later, I’ll take Maxie out, he decided.

Leo and Flurry were already at the door. "its raining guys" she said

Maxie barked continuously, and Jax understood his confusion. We are supposed to be at the dog park, was what Maxie wanted to say. But Jax's mother was rising, so he had no choice but to lock Maxie in his little misbehavior cage.
