Carlos closed his eyes, soaking up the warmth of the sunlight falling on his face. It was a beautiful summer's day and it felt like nothing could go wrong. As usual, that wasn't the case. -
Ruby came running up to him. "Hey Carlos, how are you enjoying the sun?" she asked.

"Oh, it's great. Winter was pretty brutal," Carlos said with a small laugh, opening his eyes and fixing Ruby under his always attentive gaze. "What about you, Rubix Cube?"

"I enjoyed the snow, despite getting frostbite." She shuddered.

"Ouch," Carlos said, wincing sympathetically. "I'll bet that wasn't fun."

“It definitely wasn’t” she said as she laid down next to him. “How do you look at the sun? Is so bright.” She said as she squinted her eyes.

"I close my eyes," Carlos said, doing exactly that. "Then all I feel is its warmth."
