“Oh hush.” Jewel laughed. She looked around. “This place seems cool.” She said.
(I have no clue what a ma and pa shop is ;w;) -
(A family owned business/store, basically)
Adrian nodded. There were wooden chandeliers with lanterns on top for lighting, some round tables, and a counter at one end of the room. "Let's stay here until the rain stops," he said. -
(Ohhh)
Jewel walked to a table and sat down. -
"Do you want me to get you anything?" he asked. "I'd have to look at the menu first, but maybe a hot drink?"

"That would be nice." She said. Jewel looked around the store with her eyes and smiled, it seemed like a welcoming place.

Adrian walked up to the counter. He got into a bit of a conversation with the woman at the counter, and after a bit she threw two kitchen towels jokingly at Adrian's head where they landed.
He soon returned with two towels and two mugs.
"I think she likes me," he said quietly to Jewel with a slight smile as he set a mug in front of her and a towel to dry herself off with. -
(*June silently kills Adrian*)
Jewel frowned at this and glared at the towels. "How romantic." she growled. -

Someone's the jealous type," Adrian said with raised eyebrows. He sat down and rubbed the towel through his hair so that he'd stop making puddles on the ground. -
"I'm not jealous! Just cautious." she retorted. "I mean, how would you like it if someone flirted with me?'

"Tell him you're my girlfriend," Adrian said calmly. "And if he doesn't back off he's got trouble headed his way like a missile."

"Why thank you for the kind advice." Jewel said. She got up from the table and marched to the girl at the counter. "Back off, that boy over there is my boyfriend." she said.

"Oh," the girl flushed. "I didn't realize - I'm sorry." She really was a nice girl. She had just chosen the wrong person to mess with.

Jewels face softened. "Sorry, I'm a bit of a protective girlfriend." she apologized.

"It's okay, I understand," the girl said.

"So, whats your name?" Jewel asked.
