Adrian waited on the chair. He wasn't sure if she was going to come out and show him how it looked on her or if she was just going to decide for herself.

Jewel timidly stepped out of the dressing room and showed Adrian the top.

"Wow that looks nice on you," Adrian said truthfully.

“Thanks.” Jewel said. She walked back into the dressing room and took off the top and put her shirt on.

"Maybe yoi want to grab an armload of things you like then try them on so that it'll go quicker?" Adrian asked.

Jewel nodded her head and tried a few more things. She finally decided on a dress and the shirt and pants.

"Come on," Adrian said, heading to the checkout. "Do.you want to.get some things at some.other.stores too or no?"

“No I’m fine.” Jewel said.

"Are you sure?" he asked as he set the items on the checkout.

“Yeah, I don’t want to spend your money.” She said.

"Money is no.issue, but if.you say so," Adrian said. He paid the cashiers and handed Jewel her bag and the two.of.them.headed out underneath the shelter of the umbrella.

Jewel leaned against Adrian and put her hand out to feel the rain. "Y'know, sometimes rain can be romantic." she said.

Adrian wrapped an arm around her half because he wanted to, half to support her so that she wouldn't fall. "It sometimes can be," he said, "but that's mostly in movies."

"Well then, I was planning on kissing you, but since it's only in movies then I won't." she said.

Adrian laughed and gave her a kiss on the forehead. "Oh you're great," he said.
