"Andrea," she said. She had brown hair and eyes, and a slim form. She spoke with a British accent, of course. "Yours?"

"What a pretty name! My names Jewel." she said.

"Yours is very pretty as well," Andrea said. Somebody called her from the back. "I'm sorry," she said, taking a few steps away from the counter. "I have to see what my mum wants. It was nice to meet you."

"It was nice to meet you as well." Jewel said. She watched Andrea go to her mother and smiled. Jewel went back to where Adrian was and sat down in her chair.

"Either that was going to happen," Adrian said, "or you were going to pummel her."

“It would work two ways. If she was rude about it, she picked death. Since she was nice, I hope she forgives me and we become friends.” Jewel said.

"Like I said," Adrian sipped his drink out of his mug.

Jewel looked out the window and stared at the rain. Every now and then, she would be rooting for a raindrop as they came to the bottom.

"So what clothes do we need to get for.you?" Adrian asked, half trying to strike uo conversation.

“Normal clothes would be nice.” She said.

"You see, I don't know what normal clothes for a girl is," Adrian said.

“Casual clothes.” She said.

Adrian made a sound that.said You think.I know what those.are? "I'm just going to take you to random.stores amd.you can pick out what you like."

“Sounds good to me.” Jewel said.

There was a crash of thunder and the raindrops started pouring down harder. "This might take awhile," he muttered.
