“James I swear, if I fall on my face I will kill you.” she yelled.

"It's not my fault if you land on your face, it's Adrian's," James muttered. After a moment he got her pants unstuck

Jewel yelped as she fell.

Adrian caught her with the grace he always had. "Thanks James," he called up.
"Any other damsels in distress just call me," James said amd scurried away." -
“Congratulations I’m not reading my mind.” She said, giving Adrian a little pat on the head.

"Just curious, can you tell if.I'm reading your mind?" he asked.

“I can tell by the way you act after reading it.” She said.

"That makes sense," he said as he set her on the ground.

Jewel planted a kiss on his lips. “As a reward for catching me my knight in shining armor.” She said with a little laugh.

"And gladly accepted," he said with a smile.

Jewel had a silly little grin on her face.

"You ready for today?" Adrian asked.

“I’m ready as I’ll ever be.” She said. “What about you? I doubt you can handle not reading my mind.”

Adrian rolled his eyes. "I've only been doing it for like two months, I'll live," he said.

Jewel laughed. “Sure, I’d like to see how this will go.” She said.
