Jewel glared at Adrian. “If you know what’s good for you, we aren’t doing this again.” She snapped, a little tired from the endless training.

"I know what's good for you," Adrian said. "And hand-to-hand combat is one of them."

Jewel narrowed her eyes at him, but said no more. “I’m guessing I have to train tomorrow?” She asked.

"I already said we weren't," he said.

“On my powers.” She said.

"Oh that," Adrian said. "Well, I was actually hoping that we could go out tomorrow. I don't know when you last saw sunlight, granted London isn't very sunny, but you've been cooped up in this bunker too long."

Jewel sighed in relief. “That would be amazing, I hate staying in one place for a few days.” She said.

"We should probably get you some clothes," he said. "You shouldn't keep wearing the same five things over and over."

“That would be nice.” She said, taking his arm.

"Tomorrow will be a good day," Adrian said.

“Now, what did I ever do to deserve you?” She asked.

Adrian smiled. "You have done so much."

Jewel slowly nodded her head, she knew that Adrian was the one who had gotten her so far and she had no clue how to thank him.

"No thanks necessary," he said.

“If I ever need to get you a present or throw you a surprise party, I’m just going to stay away so you don’t read my mind and spoil it for yourself.” She said with a laugh.
