"And that's why you don't do that," Adrian said, picking her up. "One, it ruins the chair, two that's how Eli died in the Bible, falling backwards on his seat."

“Its worth it.” She said with a mischievous smile as she looked at the chair, obviously wanting to rock on it again. -
(Yep. He fell backwards in his chair from shock that his sons died and broke his neck.)
"Can't let you do that," Adrian said. "I'm your Guardian." -
“Your no fun.” Jewel grumbled, sitting back down in her chair.

"Just doing my job," he said with a flashing grin.

“I don’t know if I should love how protective you are, or hate it.” Jewel said, playing with the necklace.

"Like I said I'm just doing my job," Adrian said. "Besides, I don't want to spend money to buy another chair."

“Buying new things are painful. Especially if they’re from IKEA.” She said, cringing at the thought of having to build the chair.

"Never been there," Adrian shrugged.

“Don’t go there, the place is humungous.” She said.

Adrian raised his right hand. "I promise I will never step foot into this place called IKEA unless it is absolutely necessary."

Jewel laughed. “Good to know.”

Adrian took their plates and headed into the kitchen.

Jewel got up from the tabled and went to go help Adrian clean up.

Adrian snuck up behind her and blindfolded her with a tea towel. "I have a surprise," he said.
