Jewel looked at Tessa. “Tessa, I am so sorry for what I said to you. Can you forgive me?” She asked.

Jewel looked back at Adrian. “Shall we go back to that date?” She asked. -
Adrian gave her a smile then nodded. He wiped the tears from her eyes then led her out of the room, holding her hand.

Jewel sat back down on the chair she sat on only an hour ago. She prayed nothing bad would happen.

"Hopefully the food's not cold," he said as he sat back down.

“I-I can heat it up!” She exclaimed, wanting to make up for what she had done.

Adrian sat her back down. "I will," he said and he took the plates back into the kitchen.

Jewel fidgeted in her seat while Adrian left. What was she thinking? Adrian probably hated her.

Adrian returned with the food. "I told you I would never hate you, and I meant it," he said.

She groaned. “You can hear my thoughts from another room as well?!” She exclaimed.

"How else would I have been able to know you had your phone back at the cabin?" he said.

“I thought you noticed that I didn’t have it packed.” She said with a raised eyebrow.

"What do you mean?" Adrain asked.
