Jewel sat next to him. “I just write songs and think about the past.” She said.

"Songs?" Adrian asked. "Can I hear some?"

Jewel bit her lip. She wasn’t quite comfortable with singing in front of people, but the fact that it was Adrian gave her strength.
She sang a song that she had listened to all the time when she was young.
(I didn’t write this song)
There was a time, I used to look into my father's eyes

"Wow," Adrian said when she was finished. "That's really good."

Jewel blushed. “Thanks.” She said. She started fidgeting with her fingers.

"Any other ones you'd like to share?" he asked.

“I think that’s all for tonight.” She said. Jewel laid her head on Adrian’s shoulder and fell asleep.

Adrian would have been content to just stay there, but unfortunately benches aren't very comfortable.
Adrian gently picked her up and carried her out of the green house. He walked through the various hallways and corridors and finally reached her room. He laid her down on the bed and gazed at her for a moment, then turned off the lights and left the room. -
Jewel woke up a few minutes later and realized Adrian must’ve taken her to bed. She went into the living room and read a book. She was desperate to prove that she wasn’t an early bird.

Adrian easily stayed up for a few more hours before going to bed.

A few minutes later, Jewel was feeling tired. She looked at the clock and smiled. 2:00am, hopefully that was enough time to be awake. She went back into her bedroom and went to bed.

"Oi Adrian!" Kendril said, coming into Adrian's room. "Time to get up."
Adrian threw his pillow at him. -
Jewel immediately sat up as soon as 7:00am hit. She was about to go wake Adrian up, when she remembered she was suppose to prove she wasn’t an early bird. Jewel quickly got back into the bed and pretended she was sleeping.

Adrian smirked as he read Jewel's thoughts. She really was an early bird.

Jewel put on what she had put on the other day to prove that she wasn’t an early bird. She messed up her hair and drew bags under her eyes.
