Adrian blushed a little, but he quickly sent it on its way. He held his arms loosely around her.

"How close do you think we are to London?" Jewel asked, refusing to move away from Adrian.

"We'll be there in just under an hour," the man that owned the jet said.
"I got us here for free," Adrian said with a little smile. -
"That's awesome!" Jewel exclaimed, smiling up at him. She then noticed how handsome he looked. She blushed as she dug her face into his chest.

Adrian tensed up slightly, then sighed, relaxing a bit. Everything needed to stop reminding him of her. Of Claire. "You may not approve of how I got our ride for free, though," Adrian said.

Adrian whispered what it was into her ear so that the one taking them there wouldn't hear. "He has a criminal record. I take care of the body in the trunk of his car and he gives us a free ride to London."

Jewels eyes widened. "He murdered somebody?!" she exclaimed in a low whisper.

"Hush," Adrian said in a whisper, putting his index finger on her lips. "We can't really be picky over who's taking us across the ocean."

She sighed. "Your right, we're lucky we managed to get a ride to London."

"And also, to your thought earlier, I know I'm very handsome." He wasn't speaking in a whisper now.

Jewel immediately got up from his chest and blushed. "W..w..what are you going talking about? I never said anything like that!" she stammered.

Adrian tapped the side of his head, as if saying, 'Thoughts, remember?'
"Don't worry," he grinned. "I've had girls swooning left and right over me. I think I even remember a few lines of poetry. They seemed to be mostly captivated many my eyes." -
"I'm not swooning over you!" she exclaimed, immediately turning away from Adrian. "And please stop reading my mind."

"See, you're doing better than they were," Adrian said with a grin. "Also I kind of need to be able to read your thoughts in order to do my job as your Guardian."
