"I haven't," Adrian said. "It probably flew away."

Jewel's eyes widened. "Flew away as in to see its family or something?" she asked hopefully.

"Frankly, if he did that he's not coming back," Adrian said. "This isn't one of those princess movies that girls like to watch where the animals are weird."

Jewel crossed her arms. "For your information, its called Disney. And secondly, are we going to practice today?" she asked immediately changing the subject.
She was sad that Piper had left, but she understood that it needed to be out in its natural habitat. -
"Probably, but I expect the results to be the same as they were the day before yesterday," Adrian said. He started dishing himself up.

"Practice makes perfect." Jewel said as she dished out her food and sat at the table.

It was evening, and the two of them had had supper about an hour ago. Adrian just finished sharpening some of his knives that had gotten dull. He sort of flopped on the couch. It was storming outside. Really hard. The wind made whistling sounds as it brushed up against the cabin.

Jewel sat on the couch next to him. She had taken a liking to him. A strong liking. She shook her head. She did not have a crush on him.
"I'm glad no demons have attacked us." Jewel said in a relieved tone. -
(She spoke too soon. That's exactly what I plan on happening)
"Tessa's the only nice demon I know," Adrian said with a small laugh. "She was Lucifer's top general, actually. But he double-crossed her so she double-crossed him. I'm still not sure if she actually cares about me and everyone else she knows or if she's just still getting her revenge on Lucifer." -
XD! Oh no! I jinxed them! :3)
"I know she cares about you." she said with a smile.
"I wonder how Piper's doing." She wondered out loud. -
There was a loud booming noise as lightning struck near the house. Adrian put his arm over the back of the couch, trying to act relaxed and calm. No, he couldn't do that. He had to make sure. He opened the door to see and four demons forced themselves in.

"Adrian? Is everything okay out there?" Jewel exclaimed worryingly.

Adrian gave a yell of surprise and quickly drew out a demon knife. Considering it was him up against four demons it wasn't surprising that they pushed him into the living room. Where Jewel was. Two of the demons started going for her, with horrible leers on their faces showing their sharp teeth.
"Jewel!" Adrian yelled. "Get away!"
(Now! Her powers show up now! Something like fire or ice or something like that, probably ice considering it's a wooden cabin, but something destructive to kill four demons!)
