"Look, don't try and pretend it's not your own name," Adrian said with a slight roll of his eyes. "I know your name is Sade. Now I'm sure I have some explaining to do and at this point we are wasting precious time."
-
“Why is this time so precious to you?” Sade demanded. “Who are you and what do you want from me?”
-
Adrian opened his mouth about to speak then closed it. He thought for a moment.
"Okay, there's no way of putting this without sounding like a madman. I'm your Guardian. I'm like a guardian angel. Also I can read your mind," Adrian answered. He knew she wouldn't go without an answer. "Lucifer, the devil, is going to try and kill you every chance he gets. Because you have something he wants and you can never give it to him." -
Sade opened her mouth, a bit too wide, then slammed the door. She stood with her back against it, cupping her face in her hands. He was a madman, completely senile. Lucifer, the devil? Why would he want her? It's not that she didn't believe in these figures. It was that this was absolutely crazy.
-
A demon appeared in the back yard of Sade's house. He had yellow cat-like eyes and bat-like wings that he didn't bother concealing, and was completely dressed in black leather with a few thin chains for decorative purposes. He silently walked through the back door.
Adrian raised his eyebrows at the slammed door. He had told her she wouldn't believe him. He started walking off the front porch when he froze. He felt something. There was a demon there. He rushed to the front door again. "Sade!" he yelled as he pounded on the door. "You need to get out of the house now!" -
Sade closed her eyes until she heard the faintest of breathing. The sounds grew louder and louder, until she felt them against her ear. She couldn't see anything, but she could feel it.
"Wh-what's going on?" She managed to stutter out, though she was paralyzed in fear.
Suddenly, something wrapped around her legs, pulling her to the ground. Her scream was deafening as she gripped onto the nearest object to prevent herself from being dragged across the floor. -
"Don't be afraid," the demon's silky voice said whispered menacingly into her ear. "After all, I'm only going to hurt you."
Adrian heard her scream and broke down the door. He ran through and tore off his jacket. He wanted everything he had to his advantage available to him. His feathered wings spread like a dark black rose blossoming and reaching for the sun.
Adrian tore the demon away from Sade and drew a long knife. "Get out of the house!" he repeated to her. -
Sade was ripped away from the demon's grasp, practically being thrown outside. She caught her breath, staring for a few seconds. Her ankles throbbed in pain as she attempted to crawl away. Blood spilled in her path.
-
Adrian swiped at the demon with his knife but the demon dodged it easily.
"Really," the demon laughed, "you'll have to try much harder than that." And with that he hit Adrian so hard he was hurled through the open doorway and over the porch.
Adrian used his wings to help him land on his feet. The black of his hair and wings vividly contrasted with the white of the snow outside. He watched as the hellion made his way across the threshold to the outside. -
Sade began to cry, holding back tears as her nails seeped into the ground beneath her. This had to be a dream- a very vivid, horrific dream.
-
Adrian raised himself a few feet from the ground then shot himself in the demon's direction, knocking him down but Adrian swooped upward a bit and landed on his feet. As the demon was moving to stand back up Adrian stabbed him in the chest with his knife and started pulling out a different knife.
The demon acted like he didn't have blood gushing put from his chest as he stood up.
"You should know better than that," the demon told Adrian. He yanked the knife out of his body, the flesh healing instantly.
Adrian threw the knife at him. This knife was different. Inscribed with strange symbols. The knife pierced his chest. The demon hissed and suddenly became a heap of black ash.
Adrian sighed and started walking to Sade. His wings naturally folded themselves behind his back again. "This isn't a dream," he told Sade. "Pinch yourself if you have to, but it's not a dream. Do you need help getting up?" He looked at her ankles all bloody. -
(Oh I forgot to mention that it can be a romance if you want it to)
-
(Unless you want to do a romance I think we should just see where the characters go and see if we want it to be or not)
-
definitely romance ♡
also, my apologies for such a late response).
Sade breathed in heavily as she observed her surroundings. Adrian told her it wasn’t a dream, but she had a hard time believing it. She took his hand, attempting to rise from the ground, but only fell back to her knees. -
(Okay and no problem)
"Really, a demon wound isn't enough for you to realize," Adrian with a slight shake of his head. He picked her up off the ground with one arm under her knees and the other holding up her upper back. It seemed as if Safe was so light he was holding a doll. He carried her into the house and into the bathroom. "Wash yourself off," he told her as he put her on the counter part next to the sink. "Where did you put my jacket? It has something you'll need if you don't want something grotesque to happen to your ankles."
