Winifred scrambled through the undergrowth in panic, her ears pinned back against her head as she ran. She slid to a stop and stood up on her hind legs, quickly looking around for shelter. She spotted a building and dashed for it

Dock heard the window fly open and walked heavily over to it. "Of all my luck," he growled, locking it shut again and returning to his soup, not noticing the wet little footprints on his floor.
