Flowerpaw nodded, her long tail flicking in the air. Seedpaw made a small hum of acknowledgement before frowning.

"I wasn't batting at her eyes though. I was aiming for her ears," he said, getting into fighting position. "I must have missed."

She waited momentarily until she was sure they were a long way off, a good head start, and repositioned herself to be downwind so they wouldn't scent her. Then she crouched low and began to follow their scent trail, quickly while also skillfully not making a sound.

Seedpaw quickly scrabbled up trees, jumping from branch to branch until he was sure he had gone far enough. Flowerpaw, on the other hand, dove into water and swam until she could hide among some reeds.
