"Yeah, Kieran," Iris said. "You like that one?" -
"I think so," Clone Ander said.
-
"Kieran it is, then," Iris said with a smile. "Your hostage is probably awake by now."
-
Kieran looked at the cameras. Sure enough, she was. And she looked scared.
He smirked. Perfect. He wanted to destroy everything that Ander cared about. "I'll be back," he said as he walked down the stairs.
Kenna had awoken to a fierce throbbing pain in her head. Then she realized that she was behind bars. She didn't have her cane either. The cell she was in was a cold gray color, with no furniture. She sat up. -
Iris hugged the pillow to her chest. "Make them pay," she said. She still felt that hollow feeling inside, but she felt better than before. It wasn't so lonely now that Kieran was around.
-
"Crypta, I need your help to save Kenna," Ander said. "The clone took her."
Crypta nodded, wiping away her tears. "I'll help you." -
Keiran walked in front of Kenna's stall with a smirk. "Surprise!" he said as he unlocked the cell and walked in, locking the door behind him. He knew she couldn't go anywhere, but he wasn't taking any chances anymore.
Kenna gasped in horror and backed herself up against the wall. "You're the clone," she said, her voice quivering. "You have to be. You're not Ander."
"Oh you're wrong there," Kieran said. "I am Ander. The Ander you know and love."
"No!" Kenna cried out. "No, you can't be!" -
"Thank you," Ander said, hugging Crypta. She wrapped her arms around him, burying her face in his shoulder.
-
Iris listened to Kieran and Kenna's speaking. A pang of sympathy shot through her at Kenna's desperate voice, but she brushed it aside and went to find some provisions. -
-
(Whoops my phone slipped)
Kieran chuckled. "How about some proof then? I think, no, I know I love you? No, we've already done that one. How about one from when we first met? You don't need your leg to be powerful. Is that proof enough or need I do more.
"It's a dream then, then," Kenna said quietly, trying to persuade herself. "A nightmare. It - It can't be real."
Kieran stalked over to her and yanked her hair back. Kenna gasped at the pain shooting through her scalp. "Do you really think this is a dream? Do you" He asked with another yank.
Kenna shook her head. She just wanted him to let go of her. But she did realize that this was no nightmare, everything here was real. Tears began to form in her eyes.
Kieran released her hair and stayed exactly where he was right next to her. -
Oh pfft))
Iris's hand curled around the cold, metal bar of a bunkbed, lost in thought. Where did Lilac's body lie now? Would she, Iris shuddered at the thought, see her still, cold form once more?
-
Lilac's grave would be dug another time. They had to hurry so that Kenna wouldn't be next. -
"It was really so easy to make you believe I loved you. Encouraging words, a life risk here or there, an "I love you," a kiss," Kieran said, looking deep into her fear-filled eyes.
Kenna leaped at him in fury. Or at least tried to. All she really ended up doing was slightly scratching his legs.
Kieran slapped her off of him. Hard. It would leave a bruise, he knew. Then he kicked her in the torso.
Kenna cried out in pain. That might be a broken rib. "Why - Why were you so concerned with keeping me alive?" she rasped out.
"It was my tenth kill," Kieran shrugged. "I wanted to have a little fun with it. I haven't had a fun kill in ages." -
You did it :0))
Crypta was trembling and unsteady on her legs, so Ander lifted her up and carried her. He set her down near the metal door and she quickly began running through the possibilities. Or at least, she tried to. Lilac's death had shaken her. -
(Indeed I did)
"But Crypta, and Lilac?" Kenna asked.
"Oh they were in on it too," Kieran said. "The entire time. I will say, things got much more extravagant than I had planned, but it's all worked out rather well in the end, hasn't it?" -
"I'm trying, I'm trying," Crypta said, her hands shaking as she pulled out a metal device. Finally, she buried her face against Ander's shoulder.
"I'm so sorry, Ander. I can't, I can't..."
-
Iris's fingers hardened on the metal pole. If anyone deserved pain and suffering, it was Ander. And Kieran was making sure that that was exactly what was going to happen. -
"No," Kenna said shaking her head, "no, they wouldn't."
"Nothing I say is a lie," Kieran said. "They were in on the fun too."
"What about the clone?" she asked.
Kieran hated those two words. The clone. With a passion. He punched her in the face for saying those two words.
"I hate my clone," he sneered. "I was only too glad to be rid of him." He said it as if he was talking about Ander, and not himself.
"No more questions," Kieran told her. "You'll be dead tomorrow."
