"Not human," Tamara said. "Because you stuck your hand in the fire, you were perfectly fine in that blizzard, and you came back pretty fast."

"Wait are humans not fire proof!?!" He said in alarm "f---in jim lied to me!"

"No, they're not," Tamara said, about to laugh. "So are you a monster?" -
Pire seemed incredibly embarrassed "erm. Yes. Im a dragon-shifter. And a terrible lier, as you can tell" he said, blushing

"But then, why didn't you kill us or let us die out in the snow?" Tamara said.
(When I typed that out, the only reply I could imagine was "I'm a monster, not a monster. Oh...wait") -
(XD pretty close)
"Hey! I may be a monster but im not rude!" He said with a pout, adding some wood to the fire "beside, Meirian at the inn in the village gets me honey treats everytime i bring people in to her" he said, mildly flustered -
Robin raised her eyebrows. "Honey treats?"

"Yeah! They are little balls of nuts rolled in honey! They're really tasty" he said brightly

"So you save humans for honey treats?" Tamara said, barely believing her ears.

"I mean, i save them for other reasons too, but yeah pretty much" Pire said with a shrug, smiling

Robin facepalmed laughing.

Tamara couldn't help it. This whole situation was so ridiculous and she flopped into a pile of furs, laughing.

Pire pouted at them, but didnt seem to be upset at their laughter

"I'd probably do that to if I wasn't out fer revenge." Gerin said standing up.
