Name - Rust
Age - 9 years (yeah he's an old man so what)
Gender - Male
Appearance - A shepard/retriever/lab/husky mix, has the retriever coat color, the husky tail shape, the shepard face and the lab body
Personality - Sweet, but can be grumpy. VERY loyal.

My dog's closest bond leans to River Dog but she is a Swift Dog all the way through

(Oh, by the way! Eclipse is the highest ranking hunter, and is supposed to be the beta when the alpha dies, or she could challenge the alpha for his place. OR she could challenge the beta for her place! :3)

What different rankings do they have?

Rust will be somewhat in the middle with little interest of becoming alpha. He'd be fine with beta someday, though.

Patrol dogs is one rank higher than omega, hunter dogs is one rank higher than patrol dogs, beta is one rank higher than hunter dogs, alpha is one rank higher than beta, and the there's the spirit dogs; Forest-dog, River-dog, Sky-dogs, and Earth-dog.

A pup is lower than Omega, since it can't hunt, fight, or defend itself. That's why its mother has to be with them every step of the day.

So are the Forest-dog, River-dog, Sky-dogs, and Earth-dogs higher than the alpha, or just below?

Icy River will be a Patrol Dog, since you said she's a swift-dog and has good tracking skills, and is intelligent.
Rust will be a Hunter Dog, since he's strong. He's fought his way up (Meaning he challenged a lot of dogs in a higher rank than him).
