(we're waiting for you in Council of Fairy Tales)
Jenna heard the warning bells in the castle ring. There were certain rhythms for different kinds of emergencies. She knew this one all too well. Magic. She didn't know if it was her or somebody else, but she had to leave. She abandoned her work, packed her satchel with food and everything she thought she might need, grabbed her belt with the sword in it, put her dagger in her bag, put her cloak on, and ran out the back door. She looked out on the street. The Guard was everywhere. She started traveling through the alleyways. -
I'm not going to do it anymore.))
(So where is my character supposed to be right now?) -

Okay. Wait, if she has telepathy can she read animals' mind? Or just humans?))
Scarlet ran through the lush woods, looking around. A squirrel was crawling up a tree. A nut! Ignoring it, she used her speed to dash from tree to tree. Where are you? she thought, still searching. -

Jenna eventually got to the city wall. Not the gate. They'd double or triple the amount of guards there. She shifted into a raccoon, and climbed to the top of the wall. She climbed down the other side, and turned back into a human. She ran into the forest to escape. She heard loud, rough men running in the distance behind her and the bells still ringing away. She started smelling smoke. She sincerely hoped that they weren't going to burn down the forest to find her. She ran into a clearing where she barely dodged a shot of flame. -

I can feel the presence of another mind. Where is it coming from? Who's coming? She could see nobody it in the distance of the forest. But this mind is stronger. It's not an animal. Not a human. Something more powerful...something with magic. -
They were shooting flaming arrows at her. With her peripheral vision, Jenna saw a figure to her left running. The person didn't look like a Hunter, but she couldn't be sure. She leaped over a fallen tree and kept on running. She suddenly had the choice between two paths. She had been running off the paths, but she suddenly encountered them at this fork in the road. She decided to go in between the two paths. Eventually she realized her mistake, as she came face to face with a wall of stone that was too long to go around and too high for her to climb up in human form. But she needed to save her energy. She turned around, ready to fight

Well idk but Scarlet stopped running earlier and you said the she saw someone running so idk. Sorry.))

Scarlet instantly felt the presence come closer. From over there! She ran in that direction, using her super speed to her advantage. She skidded to a halt as the magical person came into view. They looked like a normal person, other than the golden streaks in their eyes. Scarlet could tell that they didn't know who she was and that she wasn't trying to hurt her. "Hi." Scarlet said, noticing how awkward that was. She thinks I'm here to kill her and I suddenly say hi?

Jenna had drawn her sword at the girl at the same time as checking her mind. She was magic too. So when the girl told her so, she said, "I know." Then the Hunters were there. Jenna was trapped. there was the stone cliff on one side, and the Hunters on the other. She couldn't go around the stone, because it was too long. She had just enough time to get her dagger out of her bag before the Hunters were attacking her. She fought them off best she could, which was pretty well, considering how many she was up against.
