"You also gave me my first pot pie," Harper said

Crypta laughed a little. "Your first pot pie? What other things have you not eaten?"

"I don't know," Harper said with a little laugh in his voice

"I'm going to have to fatten you up once this whole thing's over," Crypta decided.

Harper thought about that. It had never been over for him. Apparently Crypta was more optimistic than he was in this situation.

"Do you know any good music?" Crypta said, bringing the robo dog into her lap.

Harper shook his head

"Neither do I," Crypta said, nervously. "Let's see what happens."
She gently typed in a code and the robo dog began blaring old 80's music. -
Harper listened. He started humming along with the tune. Then he felt comfortable enough to start singing the refrains.

Crypta smiled. Harper had a very nice voice, but she didn't tell him so because she thought he might be embarrassed.

Harper couldn't remember the last time he had actually sung something. The song switched. He listened for a moment. He started singing along in no time. "Why don't you sing too?" Harper asked.
(My sister can do that. She'll have never heard a song before and she'll be singing along with it after a few moments) -
Neat! I can attempt at doing that, but usually fail lol))
"Oh, I'm not good at singing," Crypta said, stroking her robo dog. -
"Just try," Harper said

Crypta started humming, then began to sing along in a light, tentative voice.

They sang together as they drove down the road in the car
