Crimson turned at the last corner of the tunnel, and foun himself in a cave with a NightWing. "Oh. Um..hi?" he mumbled awkwardly.

"Oh!" She shifted awkwardly. "Erm.. H-hi!"

Half-smiling at her, Crimson tucked himself into bed.

Emerald looked at the LeafWing, annoyed. Could've at least said hi, she thought, but I suppose he was tired. I can talk to him in the morning.

Spruce woke up, confused. I must've passed out, He thought. Slowly turning his neck, he stretched his long, leaf-like wings. I'll see what the trees are up to. He flared his wings before he slithered out the den, and finally, he was outside.

Moon responded with a friendly nod. She shifted closer to him slightly, waiting for him to lead the way. I hope he doesn't notice that I don't know where we're going... What are his thoughts? I'm curious... She canceled out her steady raindrops in her mind, focusing on his thoughts. His mind is so calm! She thought with a huff of of joy.
