Deathclaw headed towards the big group of cats waiting. "You heard what Ripplestar said," he began, "I want Pigeonspots, Fawnpelt, and Silverpuddle to check borders. Finpaw and Mintpaw, I want you and your mentors to hunt. Sharppaw, Adderpaw, and Sandpaw, you guys battle train with your mentors. I want another hunting patrol with Whiteclaw, Firetail, and Thrushstripe. Dismissed."

Blueheart collapsed in exhaustion on her moss bed. Slowly, she faded to sleep.

Sandpaw looked hesitantly at Deathclaw, worried what he was planning.

Finpaw walked towards the tunnel, before flicking his tail against Mintpaw's pelt. "You coming?" he said, smiling. Ever since he told her about his secret friend, he felt much more comfortable around her.
Angelpaw yawned and stretched. "I guess I won't be on patrol. If anyone needs me, I'll be in the medicine cat's den."
Sharppaw smirked, before going to miss up Angelpaw's fur. "Trying to sleep more, you lazy?"
"Hey, stop!" Angelpaw squeaked, laughing all the same. "So what if I'm going to nap? You're just jealous."
Sharppaw pretended to be offended. "Am not!" -
"Yep," she answered Finpaw. "Let's find our mentors to hunt!"
