Ripplestar crouched and sprang onto the ledge. "All cats old enough to catch their own prey, join beneath the Highledge for a Clan meeting."
Why do they say "cats old enough to catch their own prey"? Don't kits come? Especially for their ceremony to become apprentices?)) -
Mintpaw stood up at the sound of Ripplestar, and headed over.
-
What does the quote do?))
-
Oh, sorry I keep testing things out.
-
Finpaw looked unconvinced, but followed her to the Highledge anyway.
Birdflight ignored the call and started to drag Blueheart to the medicine cat's den. -
Sandpaw crawled out of the den, awaken by Ripplestar's call.
-
Sharppaw had teasingly poked Angelpaw's side with his paw when he heard the call. His keen blue gray eyes were the same color of Birdflight's pelt, and they stood out majestically on his silvery fur.
Birdflight limped into the medicine cat's den, Blue heart's scruff in her jaws. -
Sitting down, Sandpaw listened to what BlazeClan's leader was saying. "Cats, leaf-bare is coming. We must hunt as much as possible to maintain our needs as a Clan. Deathclaw, I want you to double the hunting patrols starting tomorrow."
-
Suddenly, she awoke, gasping for air. She breathed in the scents of the refreshing morning dew, thankful to be alive. "What happened...?" She rasped, before realizing what she had just experienced. Slowly, she lifted her chin to peer at the medicine cat.
-
"You fainted," Birdflight said kindly. "How do you feel now?"
Finpaw's muscles clenched. What would leafbare mean for Inkling? She might not even survive. If she stayed around, she wouldn't be able to get any prey at all. -
"I--" She was about to say she hadn't fainted, but caught herself in her actions. "I-I feel okay," She lied. Slowly, she stood, blinking away the experience.
-
Sandpaw noticed the commontion near the Medicine Cat den during Ripplestar's announcement. What's going on?
-
"I'll be going, now," She padded through the entrance to the gorse tunnel with a terrified expression on her face. Is he really coming...? She thought.
-
Birdflight watched Blueheart go with narrowed eyes. She was hiding part of the truth, if not outright lying. Her hesitation practically waved a red flag above her head.
-
She skidded to a halt. Maybe I need to get some sleep... I'm practically going insane
