Silverpuddle snifed the air, scenting for any hints of cats crossing the borders. Nothing, she thought with relief. She turned to Pigeonspots and Fawnpelt. "We can turn back now." she meowed to her border patrol.
Suddenly she heard a loud squeal that seemed to come from a nearby clearing. What was that? -
Moon squeals and yelps, hoping someone would hear her. "Quiet!" Her father yells, raking claws across her face. "It's all your fault that your mother died!" Moon whimpers, feeling his cold breath creep along her spine. He harshly stands on her throat, cutting off her windpipe. Moon starts to feel dizzy, as she can no longer breathe. Slowly he lifts his paw and glares at her. "I hope you die here, cold and alone." Then he pushed really hard on her back leg, relocating it so she can no longer move it until it is set back in position. "So long, brat." Then he leaps away into the sunrise. "HELP! PLEASE!" Moon calls into nothing. But no one answers her desperate cries for help. She continues calling into all directions, unable to move.
-
SIlverpuddle pricked her ears. What was that? She bounded over to the clearing.
In front of her lay a small cream-colored kit, desperately squealing. SIlverpuddle carefully picked up the kit by her scruff. Lifting her off the ground, the silver she-cat carried her to camp. -
Also, earlier, when you were trying to remind me to reply in the RP, no offense but it isn't very polite to say that in someone else's thread. I understand because you're new to the forums, though. And I also won't always be on when you are, so I might reply right after you, or maybe a few hours later.

Birdflight's ears perked up as she heard the sound of the returning patrol. She gasped at the sight of an injured kit. She limped over to them.
"Here, could I take her? I think I know what to do," Birdflight said. Her long time in the medicine den with Reedfloat had taught her a thing or two about being a medicine cat. -
Silverpuddle nodded, bending to give her the sad little cat that was wimpiring now. "It's okay." she whispered, "It'll be alright."
-
Birdflight picked the poor kit up by her scruff and carried her to the medicine den, setting the kit down in her own nest. The gray blue she-cat chewed up comfrey root, horsetail, and goldenrod, using it as a paste and applying it carefully to the scratch marks on Moon.
Covering it all up with cobwebs, she set some dandelion leaves down in front of the kit. "If you chew them, it won't hurt so much anymore. I'm going to fix your leg soon, okay?" -
Blueheart awoke to the sound of murmuring in her ear. She shook off the feeling as she realized no cat was in the eye range. She blinked away her sleep, breathing in the relaxing morning dew, along with all the other scents of prey, and her territory she serves. I should go hunting... It does seem like a good hunting day, after all! She leaped to her paws, immediately wide awake. As she sprinted through the entrance to the gorse tunnel, a scent caught her attention; No... I need to warn my clan! She rushed towards center of the sunlit clearing, hoping all the cats would hear her. With a puff of her breath, she yowled, "Fire!!!!"
-
Blueheart jumped to her paws at the yowl. Fire! She bundled up herbs in a leaf and carried them on her back. She picked the kit up and went outside.
Angelpaw ran to the elders' den. "We have to hurry, there's a fire," she said. She lead the elders, supporting one of them with her shoulder. Birdflight helped her. Where was Reedfloat? -
"Mew! Mew!" The kit squealed in fright. /A fire? What's a fire?/ Moon thought. Her leg hurt, and she couldn't move it. "Mew!"
-
SIlverpuddle grabbed the kit in her jaws, following the others.
"Finpaw!" Mintpaw yelled. "Did you here that? There's a fire in the camp! We have to help the others." She turned ariund and bounded inside the camp. -
Moon was scared, and saw a red flash. /Pretty!/ She thought, liking the shades that blended between red, yellow, and orange. But then the fire lashed out and burned a tree. /Ack! Nevermind!/ She thought, scared that she would get burned. Ash and smoke filled her lungs, and she coughed. Then, with it being hard to breathe, she remembered how her Gorse, her father, had cut off her windpipe for a few perilous seconds. She shuddered, also remembering her father's words. "Fire scary!" She mewled in alarm.

Is it okay if you use italics for the thoughts? Just to make it easier to see.))
-
How do you do italics? I tried the / but it didn't work... is it the *? like *this?*
-
No, it's at the bottom of the page. If you scoll all the way down, you'll see where it says "UBB codes".
Italics is [ i ] italic text here [ / i ]
Except you should put the spaces.
