Avin ate and talked at the same time food spilling from his mouth.

"No talking with your mouth full," their mother chided.
Simon ate quickly and barely talked. He grabbed seconds and ate just as quickly. -
Penelope kept smashing her head against her bed. The noise was becoming unbearable. Finally she got the guts to yell out. “Will you guys shut up for once!” She screamed. The fighting stopped but she heard footsteps approaching her room. She quickly ran to lock the door before she climbed out the window.

Her mom seized her by her backpack and began to drag her away, yelling at her fiercely.
"All I do for you and it's never enough!" her mom said, showing her true personality. "You're an ungrateful little brat and I don't have room for a disobedient child in my house!"
Erin ripped away from her mom's grasp. "You're the one who gets drunk every night! You're the one who cheated on Dad! And you're the one person in this entire world that I never want to see again!"
Erin stormed away, tears running down her face. -
Avin's father knew his son would probably start scheming something. He knew Avin was scheming to poison his pediatrician but he decided to let that go

Simon went up to his room after dinner to finish his homework. -
(That is very very creepy.)
Penelope walked down her neighborhood, looking through people’s windows. She looked in one window and her mouth dropped open. She was living in the same neighborhood as Simon Macit, the dweeb she and Erin hated so much. -
Good grief, that father needs some parental lessons.))
Erin curled up under a bush and cried for a while. She was just so angry and so stressed. -
(he's scheming something for Avin.)
Avin woke up early that morning and looked out his window to find some girl peaking at his brother. -
(Ok...?)
Simon also woke up that morning to find that someone was looking through his window. -
Penelope saw Simon look out the window and bolted. She didn’t want to be caught. She had her backpack slung over her shoulder. Suddenly she realized that her binder fell out when she had ran and went back to retrieve it.

Erin took a few deep breaths. Her mom was awful. So what? Would she really let a person like that get to her?
She regained her composure and crawled out from underneath the bush, embarrassed by her previous actions. -
Avin decided to do an investigation on the girl looking through his brother's window

Simon quickly got dressed. He had seen who it was. That Penelope girl. He didn't know why she was there. He didn't want her ruining his home life too.

Penelope saw movement in the house and froze. She didn’t know who was moving, but didn’t want to get caught, so she grabbed her binder and made a run for it.
