Simon finally got to them. He saw Avin crying. Strange, but he dismissed it. "Well," he said, "you have thanks from both me and my brother. For making today another crappy day." He took Avin by the shoulders and started leading him away.

Penelope narrowed her eyes. “It’s not our fault. Your brother kicked me.” She yelled after him. She so badly wanted to slap the boy but maintained an annoyed and angry attitude.

"Exactly," Erin retorted, before rolling her eyes and huffing. "Come on, Penny. You're too good for them."

Just as they walked away, Avin gave them the signal of I'm watching you.

Simon scowled. "Sorry, Avin," he said quietly.

“I seriously want to hit him.” Penelope growled, casting a glance over at the two.

"Just hit him?" Erin scoffed. "I wanted to give them both a good kick between the legs, that's what."

Avin started to whistle and tap his ear to tell them he heard them.

Simon furrowed his eyebrows. Why was Avin being so unconcerned about this?

Penelope noticed Avin’s movements and made a motion to Erin as in, be-quiet before motioning towards him.

Erin pursed her lips but still looked agitated.

"Brother why was that ugly lady being so mean?" Avin said to agitate them

Simon raises his eyebrows. "Ask me again after school," Simon said.

Penelope heard what he said and nearly screamed. She wasn’t ugly. Was she?
