Cross noticed max slowing down and looked back at him, growling as he realised one of the nearby hunters had vanished.

Akka felt her paws bleeding painfully, and she bit back a curse. One of those hunters were fast.

At the sound of a growl, Max picked up his pace, not wanting to fall too far behind the other Hunter.

Nala tackled year and ran towards the bright light that broke through. Nala could see the forest flying by.

Cross spotted a clearing just ahead of the witches and narrowed his brightening eyes in focus before he vanished with a small burst of light, reappearing in the witches path

Akka skidded to a halt, scrambled up a tree and placed Nala in a safe place, before jumping down to greet her challenger.

It happened so fast, but Max knew what he saw— the other hunter disappeared from view before teleporting to another location. He slowed down, panting lightly. The other hunter somehow had magic— but how? He wasn't too sure that getting involved was a good idea anymore..

Nala decided to get help, she activated her mythril and ran to find the village.

Cross panted a little, a pained expresion on his face as he held his right eye, his other hand holding his sword and pointing it at her

"Leave her alone!" Akka snarled. "It's me you want. I'll go peacefully if you allow her to leave. If not..."
She punctuated her point by unsheathing her claws. -
(I am struggling to vibe with this plot, and I don't want to drag you guys down waiting on me. We can pretend Max got spooked by Cross's magic and took off or something. I'm really sorry!)

Nala rushed to the village as she thought of simpler times, times when tirnoch didn't eggsist. -
Cross frowned at her but eventually nodded "fine.

Akka flicked her tail in a slightly sad sort of way. "I wonder why you hunt your own kind," she said.
