Adelaide groaned in frustration and put her hands on their shoulders. “Guy-that-scared-Castor-and-I, this is Smarty-Pants. Smarty-Pants, this is Guy-that-scared-Castor-and-I.”

"That's merely an introduction," Alexis said.

"But an effective one," Castor interjected. "Now I'd rather get archery over with if possible."

“Maybe I’ll accidentally shoot Cupid’s arrows on that dude and Smarty.”

Alexis decided not to debate any longer. Thhe girl wasn't going to let it down.

Adelaide was handed a bow and arrow as soon as she stepped into the archery place. “Um, am I supposed to know how to use this?” She said, handling them and looking down, “I don’t even know where I’m supposed to hit.”

Alexis was given a bow and arrow. She'd never done this before. She had seen people in movies do it, and she'd read books of people doing it. She nocked an arrow.
