Annie was confused, but didn't say anything.

What she didn't know was that Helios was once a living person, and Peter is talking to his memory.

Annie turned back to Peter. "Do you want anything to eat or drink?"

"no thank you." Peter said.

Annie started to make some tea. She didn't have much of an appetite either, but she couldn't afford to be weak during training.

"so you don't like not having powers, why is that?" Peter said.

"We are in a school for people with powers," Annie said. "And because I don't have any, I'm just helpless as everyone learns and advances without me."

"I'm already too advanced for this, I'm here to Learn about math and stuff, I didn't know it was a power school." Peter says.

"It is," Annie said, pouring out tea. "That's why my dad sent me here. He thinks I'm "gifted" or whatever."

"I've learned enough about this curse." Peter said.

"Why is it a curse?" Annie said, putting the teapot back down and taking a sip of the herby water.

"don't worry about it, I'll just say I wasn't born with telepathy." Peter said.

Annie shrugged. "That works."

Norman stood there akwardly. "Do you think the bullies are gone?" Peter said.
