Airo scowled at the floor. "Everyone always says that. I'm smarter than they think."

Jenna looked at him and raised her eyebrows. "If I don't even understand it, do you really think that you'll be able to?"

Airo shrugged. "Maybe. Sometimes all you need is a different perspective."
Anniyah, meanwhile, was scurrying around, trying to act as Jenna-ish as inherently possible. -
Jenna gave a small laugh. "Trust me, if there was a way to understand it, I would find it," she said.

Airo sighed. "Fine. But I know that you haven't been acting yourself lately. One of your admirers told me."

Jenna resisted the urge to roll her eyes when he said 'admirers.' She didn't know how Anniyah usually reacted when someone mentioned one of her admirers. "It's only been one day," she said. "I doubt that should be considered 'lately.'"

"Well, she said "lately", I don't know how long "lately" is," Airo said, patting Doop.

"Well, impatience is a virtue for her, I guess," Jenna said, shrugging.

Airo knew she was holding something back, but suspiciously walked out of the room, Doop trailing behind him.

Jenna pressed her lips together, and returned to her email.
What are these 'admirers?' she typed. -
Anniyah heard a little notification and checked her email. When she saw Jenna, she let out an exasperated laugh.
Idiots, she replied. Shake them off if you can. -
Jenna laughed a little.
Ok. You're brother walked in. He can tell I'm hiding something. Doop doesn't seem to like me. -
Doop's smart. So is Airo. Did you tell him?
