"But we already have three cats," Aiden protested.

"but he doesn't have anyone else, also dustball and Tilly really seemed to bond with him." Mikan said.

"For now," Aiden said. He extended a hand to the pitbull. The dog flinched at first, but eventually relaxed. "Let's get everyone home."

Mikan walked behind the pit bull

Once everyone was in the house, Aiden wrapped a towel around Mikan and then bathed the animals. Trash had shot under the bed at the sight of the dog.

Mikan dried herself off while thinking about the new dog.

Trash eventually came to terms with the black pittie, and Aiden fed the dog, petting him.

"so what're we gonna name him?" Mikan asked.

"You know if we name him, we won't be able to let him go," Aiden warned her. "But I would say...Charlie."

"why should we let him go?" Mikan asked.

"Mikan, we live in an apartment," Aiden said.

Mikan thought about what could happen to Charlie.

"Let's just foster him for a while and see how it goes," Aiden suggested.
Later...
Charlie was lying down next to Aiden, who was petting him. "We have to keep this dog." -
"and who was talking about leaving him earlier?" Mikan said jokingly.

"Oh you," Aiden said, still petting the dog. "I just didn't know how nice he was, that's all."
