"Then quit screaming," Aiden said. "I used to be an assassin. But not anymore."

"and why would you quit?" Wester said.

"I never liked the job," Aiden said. "Mikan changed me."

"like hell she did, she'd never talk to a filthy Antigrant mainlander assassin." Wester said.

Aiden was undaunted by Wester's name calling. "It appears that you underestimate her," he said coolly. "Seeing as she's put up with you for all these years."

"more like you kidnapped her and she's been lying to you so she can live." Wester said.

"She's free to go anytime she likes. She knows that," Aiden said. "You had your chance with her, and you blew it. So back off."

"then you clearly don't know mikan like I know her!" wester yelled.

"I don't think you even know her anymore," Aiden said.

"and I don't think you know her at all." Wester said.

"That just shows how little you know," Aiden retorted.

"you complete idiot." Wester said pulling out a gun.

Aiden raised his eyebrows. "You really have lost your senses, haven't you?" he said softly.

"I haven't lost my senses you should just shut up!" Wester yelled and laughed.
