Caleb saw the two girls enter. He noticed one that looked giggly. He wanted to sink through the floor and disappear. He had a pretty good idea of how that girl was.

When Erin sat down in her seat she realized how quiet the room was and how much of a distraction she had probably been. She felt all eyes on her. She loved attention, but not this kind of attention. She felt embarrassed, which was not a word that she used to describe her state of being very often.

Cassandra saw how uncomfortable Erin was. "I thought you liked attention," she said quietly, sitting next to her.

"Oh, shut up!" Erin whispered, but then realized that Cassandra wasn't teasing. She hesitated, and said, "Let's just not make this a habit." She looked back up at the teacher who was now taking attendance.

Cassandra closed her eyes and laughed silently.

"Caleb?" the teacher said.
"Present," he grumbled. She nodded and swiftly called out another name.
"Erin?" -
Jack was happy they choose the other seats. Now he could be a good student.
Meanwhile, boras was in the library because they let him out of class early showing he knew the section well enough to teach it. -
Erin was lost in thought, when she thought she heard her name.
"Huh? Oh, here," She was totally out of it. The teacher called out another name.
"James?"
"Here," He was sitting right behind Erin. Erin didn't know who this person was, but she wanted it to be her goal to meet as many new people as possible and make a ton of friends this year. Erin turned around in her seat and flashed a quick grin at James.
James saw Erin smile. What was she trying to do, smirking at me like that? James thought to himself. He turned the corners of his mouth just enough to pass as a smile. Erin turned back around and the teacher continued.
"Cassandra?" the teacher said. -
"At thy service, my Lady," Cassandra said with a smile on her face, doing a miniature bow whilst in her seat.

Caleb tried to hide his laughter by coughing. He knew he'd like this girl.

Cassandra heard a coughing-laugh behind her. She turned James who seemed to be the source. "Thou dost find mine Language amusing." Cassandra said, a smile still on her face. "Or perchance thou art Ailing from a Terrible Illness?"
