“I don’t know! I turned my head for a second and she was gone!” Raytail exclaimed, shuffling to his paws, “Where did she go?”
Comet woke up with a start, “What’s all the noise about? Is there a spider in your nest?” He snorted, thinking that clan cats were extremely over dramatic. -
Drift looked up. "Hey, where's that calico?" she said.
Minnowleap tried to get to her feet, but ended up falling.
Thunderbolt brushed his tail reassuringly against Minnowleap's pelt and bounded off to look for Honeymoor. -
Honeymoor sniffed through the brush, she was absolutely sure that she saw something, something cat-like, but not quite.
Raytail looked through the bushes to see Honeymoor with her head bent down, as if eating prey. “You got us worried!” He hissed as he frantically headed towards her.
Honeymoor growled, “Stop, there’s something large over there. You’ll startle it.” She pointed to a large cat-like creature, who was feasting on something. -
Thunderbolt at first had been tempted to give Honeymoor a thwack for worrying them so much, but when he caught sight of what she was looking at, he paled.
"That's a mountain lion," he said faintly. -
Honeymoor tensed, the huge cat moved its head to face their direction.
Raytail hissed, “I knew it! What’s next, cubs?”
Ironically, what was in the mountain lion’s mouth was not a kill. But a cub. -
Adder started to walk away with Lion right behind her when someone crossed her mind. She shook her head violently but couldn’t get their gray pelt out of her mind. (Me: “wink, wink”)

“Ahoy, maties! Time to board the Ray x Adder ship!”))
Raytail backed away, Honeymoor far in front of him, “You need to get out of there! Be careful, anything you do could startle it!”
“Oh, and now I don’t want to move thanks to you!” She retorted, “What’s going to come out of your mouth next? ‘If you don’t move you’re dead?’” -
*insert Lenny face*))
Thunderbolt sucked his breath in. "Oh Starclan. It's a mother."
Minnowleap had limped her way over, and soon stood in shock at the sight of the cougar. "Oh," she said faintly. -
(Let’s get it started hah! XD)
Adder turned to Lion. “I’ll be back in a bit.” She said before running off. She wanted to see how the others were now that they had found Minnowleap. She was close to where she last was with them when she heard a growl behind her. “Fox, badger, cat?” She thought to herself. It was a fox. “Oh no.” Adder breathed. -
Drift saw the distant form of Adder by the remains of the avalanche. There was a fox creeping up towards her.
The striped she-cat streaked over to help her, landing on the fox with a magnificent flying leap and attacking it. -
Honeymoor swiveled to look at the others, while Raytail had an awed expression on his face, “She came back!” He said, loud enough to startle the mountain lion.
Honeymoor shrieked, “Keep it down, Will ya?? -
Minnowleap's ears flattened. "Oh no. It's looking right at us."
Thunderbolt fluffed up defensively.
Drift bit down hard on the fox, struggling to hold on. -
Raytail yowled, “Alright guys! It’s time to get into some sort of tight space!” He said as Honeymoor followed him.
Honeymoor ran alongside Raytail, “There! I see a space in the side of the cliff that we can hide in!” -
Adder looked over at Drift thankfully and brought a swipe to the fox’s nose. She drew her claws over it and heard it let out a yelp.

Drift chased it away, before turning to Adder. "Welcome back," she said nonchalantly.
And now I'm shipping those two as well as Addertail. Why an I like this ;-;))
Minnowleap limped over and Thunderbolt nudged her inside. Just as he squeezed in, the jaws of the mountain lion snapped at him. He breathed out a sharp sigh of relief.
