(Fair enough)
"Hmm," he said, thinking it through. "That plan seems to be suitable. When shall we depart?" -
Gaynor looked out the window. it was late afternoon. "Let's get packed up and then we can leave right away," she said.
-
02084 stood there, impatiently waiting. He didn't have anything to pack except for his money bag, which he already had.
-
Gaynor packed food into a leather bag, and she figured that was enough. "Let's go," she said, and walked out the door.
-
"What method of transportation might we be using?" he said, following Gaynor.
-
(I don't even know what time frame they're in right now. Well, Gaynor has a belt with a sword and a dagger in it, so I'm guessing old times. Shoot. She forgot her belt inside.)
"Hold on," Gaynor said, swiveling on her foot 180* to face the door. She rushed back inside, and came out buckling her belt to her waist. How was she possibly going to kill anyone without her blades? "Now let's go," she said. -
"Horses, no doubt. I will fetch some," he said, running off.
-
Gaynor heard him say something, and then he was off. she heard something about horses, so she was slightly confused.
-
He returned with two horses, who tossed their manes importantly, as if they knew the significance of their mission.
-
"That's what you were doing," Gaynor said, now understanding what the 'horses part was. She took the brown horse with a black mane and tail (don't remember what they're actually called), and mounted it. The horse got excited, jubilant about going on this mission. "Calm down, Ragger," she said, petting his sleek neck.
-
02084 followed suit and stroked the muzzle of a large black stallion.
"Be calm, 3160," he said, saying it like three-one-sixty. "You must be swift. You must be silent. Above all, you must be prepared." -
"How very uncreative of you," Gaynor said, holding Ragger's reins, "giving it a set of numbers as its name. People will find it odd if you call your horse a set of numbers."
-
"I would find Ragger's title far less creative," he stated simply. "For there is surely no horse in the world named 3160, but surely there must be a horse named Ragger."
-
"Maybe not," Gaynor said. "I don't know any other horse with the name Ragger, but you said that you need to learn how to blend in. Be like "the occupants of this land." You're not gonna get that if you give your horse a code and not an actual name."
-
"With any luck, we will be able to pass through these lands without mention of the said title," he replied stubbornly, hopping onto 3160. "Now we'd better leave soon."
