"Wasn't he blind though?" Aril questioned, he knew bout the stories cuz humans will often come to the ocean and watch the sea, sunset and sunrise telling each other stuff. He recalled hearing about the famed prophecy teller, but couldn't remember if he was blind or not

Erin squawked. Actually squawked, like a bird. "Yeah, but that was not my fault!" She says defensively. "It's not like I planned for that, he must've actually angered some gods because soon after I started pestering him he became blind," Erin explains. She lowers her voice, realizing that she's getting louder and that was not good for hiding

"Maybe we should refrain from getting you all worked up since we're hiding and all. You can tell me your stories later" Aril suggested trying to make sure they weren't caught hiding.

"You're right," Erin agrees. She takes a peak from behind the rock to see if the humans had lost interest yet. They seemed to be walking away, back towards into the forest. "We should go. Either they're getting backup, or they've given up. I don't wanna stay to see if it's the former option," Erin whispers to Aril.

"But where are we gonna go?" Aril asked, in a whispered tone. He had no ideas where they could hide next, or where they could even go. But, he also did not want to see if they were getting backup.

"I don't imagine that you live so close to the shore. Let's just go back in the direction of your home," Erin suggested. She shook out her wings a bit, which had gotten wet. "I'll fly above you, you lead the way."
