Name: Erinnia (or Rin)
Age: 2 (but like actually 20, cause I read that birds mature quickly. She's been alive for 2 years though, which I find hilarious)
Gender: Female
Species: Harpy
Appearance: Short light brown hair, freckles on her face, bright yellow eyes. Her legs are similar to that of bird legs (complete with talons and whatnot), and her wings protrude from her arms, not her back. She doesn't wear clothes, but it's fine since her feathers cover up everything. She has a wide variety of accesories that she's collected (read: stolen) from humans over the years
Personality: Reckless, daring, a wild card, passionate, lively
Bio: Rin never liked her wings. She always found being on the ground was a lot more thrilling, because instead of soaring over everything she could explore it all. She likes collecting random things and studying anything and everything she can. The other harpies don't understand her way of thinking, so she doesn't have any harpy friends. She's always the lowest flyer, always trying to get close to the things the other harpies just want to let pass by.
Other: Doesn't like being in the sky, she'd rather be as low as she can get. She dreams of being wingless and being able to explore every part of the earth without fear of being caught by humans. -
You should start it

Okie doke :D)
Erin flies down toward a rock she sees jutting out of the ocean water. She was breathing hard, and she had scratches and bruises all over her, though it was hard to tell because of her feathers. Finally, she'd outflown those humans. They were chasing her through a forest and she just barely lost them by zooming out to the ocean. Erin was exhausted, and her body ached.. but despite this, she smiled. She looked down at the pile in her hand, a bunch of things the humans called "jewelry". It looked pretty and sparkly, no wonder they chased her for so long. She put on a diamond bracelet and admired the way it mirrored the setting sun. -
Aril swam towards the surface of the ocean. He hated being under the sea, it was so uneventful and boring. The most interesting thing that ever happened was when humans dove into the ocean to prove the existence of what they called "mer-people". There were only sirens all across the ocean, he would know he swam everywhere, some couldn't hypnotize people with songs but those were rare. No one ever succeeded in proving the existence. When Aril swam to the surface he saw a feathered person sitting on a rock hurting out of the water, he recognized the person as a harpy but he didn't recognize the person themself. It was rare that a harpy would land on one of these rocks.
-
Erin suddenly felt a chill, like she was being watched. She sat up tensely. Oh man, if the humans brought a boat or something, that would be the end. She could already imagine them gawking at her and trying to catch her with nets. But as Erin turned to survey the water, she didn't see a boat at all, but someone in the water. "Wait- stop right there! Who are you?" Erin asks. She defensively hides the jewelry behind her.
-
Aril stopped and breathed in deeply, he had to go under water to do so he could breathe the air normally but not as easily as in water, before speaking. "I am Aril, who might you be?" Being curious with what this person had in their hands that they hid behind them he swam around them to the other side of the other side of them, staying above water as well.
-
Erin realized that the person in question had to have been some .. weird sea creature. Didn't she hear about this before? A mermaid, a siren perhaps? "You can call me Rin," Erin says in reply. She watches the creature suspiciously as it circles behind her. She ruffled her feathers nervously, unsure whether or not Aril would steal what she worked so hard to ... well, steal.
-
"Well Rin, what do you got?" Aril asked no longer swimming around her and just floated in the water, watching her. He wondered what she was hiding but wasn't gonna make her show him, after all ones privacy is all that you can keep to yourself. "Are humans after you?" He asked shivering thinking of the humans and how they hunt mercilessly for stuff they believe in. He hoped humans didn't follow her, if they did he could just sing and they'd practically kill themselves but he didn't like making them do that unless he absolutely had to.
-
"I made sure that no one was following me, don't worry," Erin says with a wicked grin. Now she was excited, she loved talking about her misadventures. "You should've seen them, running around in circles! They never even saw me! They were chasing me because..." Erin paused and looked both ways at the empty to ocean, just to make sure no one else was around, then she leaned forward and whispered dramatically, "I stole some of their accesories," she finally reveals what she was hiding.
-
"Oooooh! Sounds like you had fun," Aril said looking at the accessories wondering what exactly they were. "Do they do anything special?" He asked slightly tilting his head and looking at Rin, they must do something special otherwise why would the humans care so much. Every jewel, like the ones she's holding, he's seen before and they always seem to be special. He never knew if they were magical or not. They seem to be magic based on how everyone treats them.
