"I do have a place where we can go," Rasia said a little quieter than her usual talking voice. She hadn't originally wanted to do that, but she believed that he really was in danger, and it was a little far, but closer than any other refuge they'd be able to find.

“Alright,” Jonas sighed, raising his arms. “Carry me then,” he laughed to himself. Of course, he was joking. It was true though, he hadn’t felt that relaxed since the car accident.

Rasia grabbed his arms, and lifted him to his feet. He seemed a little unsteady at first, but then he seemed stable enough. "Let's go, then. They're close.

Jonas felt a blush rise in his cheeks. He was being carried around... by a girl. “HEY, I wasn’t being serious!” Jonas kicked his legs. “Put me down!”

Rasia looked at him, then pushed him back onto the ground. "Your loss, then," she said, and started speed-walking away. -
Jonas sighed and propped his arm on his knee as he watched the girl speed away.

Rasia resisted the temptation to look back at him. If he didn't want, or need her help, he wasn't going to get it. She felt sorry for him. She willed herself on.

After a little bit, Jonas rose to his feet and leaned against a tree. At least this time a girl wouldn’t fly out of it and attack him. He continued to watch her, heading off in the distance. He then turned the opposite direction and began walking.

After a while, she got to her home. It was a small abandoned cabin in the woods. She walked in, and started making a cold supper. It wasn't much, but it would keep her alive. She sat on a cushioned, wooden chair, and thought about what had just happened. Maybe she had been too assuming. maybe he had already lost the people after him, and she had stopped him. Maybe the thing she heard was just a few animals. She didn't know.
